While there are SO many TV mounts that you can use and install in a camper, I chose this one for one reason. This mount gives you the option to just set the TV on the bracket and not have it fastened to the arm. I plan on disconnecting my TV every time before I pull my camper down the road. I know that there are mounts that are camper/RV specific and they lock in place but I don’t like an object hanging on the wall and bouncing around like there’s an earthquake. This mount also had very good reviews which also influenced my decision to buy this. If you are installing this in a Coleman 17B, use the stud closest to the front shelf. I pre-drilled the hole into the stud and used (3) 5/16″ x 1″ lag bolts to secure it to the wall. This mount is VERY solid and does not feel flimsy in any way.
